Review HTML and Cascading Style Sheets |
- Discuss the steps in converting simple text and image content into a web page.
- Determine the HTML structure that will best define the content.
- What should be the title of the page?
- Are there headings? If so, determine which level of headings to apply.
- Are there lists? If so, determine whether to use definition, ordered or unordered list elements.
- Apply the paragraph element where appropriate.
- Determine whether the page will require the table element to form the basic layout of the page.
- Are there any sections within the page that will require the table element?
- Mark up (apply HTML) the raw content as determined above.
- Use Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) to add display properties, such as text and background colors, margins, borders, etc.
- Introduce the new tutorial pages.
