Welcome to an exciting new year at Ajo Unified School District 15.

If you are new to Ajo, we encourage you to visit the school and become involved in our PTSA.

Open House will be Thursday, August 19 starting with at picnic at 5:30 p.m., presentation in Dicus Auditorium at 6:30 p.m. with classroom presentations beginning at 6:50 p.m.

Our first home volleyball scrimmage will be Friday, August 20 at 5:00 p.m.

The first home football game will be on Friday, August 27 at 7:00 p.m.

There will be no school on Monday, September 6, while we observe Labor Day.

Dr. Painter will host a parent coffee, Wednesday morning, September 8, 2010 from 7:00 - 8:00 a.m. in Room 22, the new PTSA room. This will be to meet parents, discuss Ajo Schools and any general questions parents may have.

Our first Early Release Day will be Wednesday, September 22. School dismisses at 1:00. The teachers will be having professional development that day.

Fall pictures will be Wednesday and Thursday, October 21 & 22.

Parent Conferences will be Thursday, October 28. Some teachers may have conferences on the afternoon of October 27 also.

When parents are picking up students at the end of school each day, they should meet their Kindergarten-3rd grade students at the teacher's door and sign them out. We do not have babysitting services, so appreciate you being on time to pick your children up by 2:40 p.m.
