Annette Yanez K-12 PE, 9-12 Health
- Graduate of University of Arizona - "Go Wildcats!!"
- 25th year teaching in Ajo
Mrs. Yanez has two children, a dog, hamster, gerbil, turtle, fish, bird, guinea pig and a husband (not necessarily listed in order of importance). Mrs. Yanez's hobbies include playing guitar and tennis. After teaching she plans to travel.

For the month of January
Kindergarten through 5th grade are working on Tumbling and balance skills. Forward rolls, backward rolls, cartwheels and headstands will be taught.

6th - 8th grade will be practicing skills for the upcoming track and field day. Sprinting, long jump and shot put will be taught this month.
High School PE classes has an emphasis on cardiovascular endurance this month. 21 jump roping steps will be taught, personal fitness scores on the 1/4 mile, push ups and situps will be documented and heart rate monitiors will be used to chart the progress on personal target heart rate zones. Student were handed out their missing assignments reports. There has been 4 homework assignments already given. Parents, please check their grades online to see if they have completed their assignments.
